Default temp guage stopped working

just noticed today that my temp guage isn't working, which isn't that big of a deal, I only drive it in the cold months really so no biggy but eventually when I sell this hog I think it would be a great idea to have it working.... have any of you had this thing go out? What is typically the problem? It just always reads COLD lol even on like 150mile drives, you would think it would get kinda warm, there is no way this engine is that good at cooling hahaha.

Your coolent temp. sensor is dead. They are cheep and easy to change. Just remember there is 2 sensors. One for the gauge. It has one wire. The other is 2 wire for the computer.

Simple if your gauge is not working. Then replace the Gauge sensor. Wich is the one wire sensor.
