Default 1993 Dodge Dakota Engine Problems

Hello, I am having a problem with my 1993 Dodge Dakota 4X4. It has a 3.9L fuel injected engine. The problem is when I am driving I get the rpms up to around 4000 then the engine starts cutting out then coming back, so it makes the truck jerk really bad. Another problem is that wehn the truck idles, it idles between 1000 and 2000 rpms and it flucuates up and down on its own. I'm not sure if it is a bad sensor or not, because I replaced the fuel pump one day ago because that stopped working. I sprayed some water on the engine 2 days ago and I'm not sure if that could short anything out. There currently is no check engine light on, and I turned the key back and forth three times to read a possible hidden code. It gave me a 12 code which is loss of battery power and a 55 code which means end of test. It has been doing this the past couple months and I'm not sure what's causing it. So any help you have will be appreciated. Thanks in Advance!!

last time i sprayed my v6 off it got water in the throtle position sensor and made it go crazy. i would go trough and unplug some of them, especially the tps and dry them good and go ahead and put some dielectric grease in there.

Ok thanks for the advice. For more info, I also pulled out all my spark plugs and looked at them. 4 out of the 6 had a whitish coating like they were burning hot. Now I am going through other sensors and checking to see what they look like.
