exhaust leak need help

Default exhaust leak need help

i got 1995 v6 ext cab and i was wondering if are trucks have a donut gasket or manifold gasket because the guys at autozone said they dont but thats the only place that leaks

My Walker book doesn't list those donut gaskets like you see on Chevys etc. See if it is loose, cracked on both manifold and Y pipe assembly.

It's a ball and socket, so the bolts are rusted and stretched, but more than likely the engine pipe is worn from the vibration of the motor,then the bolts get loose, then the socket rubs on the exhaust manifold and wears through..

No donut but we do have a manifold gastket. Check all around the exhaust. Most of the time the leak spot will make a small black spot around the leak.
