Default 1996 4x4 318 project

Hello, im in the planning stages of rebiulding my 318(only in the planning stages because im living in germany for the next 2 months) but here are my plans so far. p&p stock heads and intake manifold, 50mm throtle body, cool air intake, headers/ exaust, .030 over bore high compression forged pistions, high flow oil pump, 1.6 roller rockers. im still in debait about what cam to add to the mix, i heard 440-460 would be good but i dont know to much about cams, this is my daily driver, so im hoping for a bit of feed back on this, also what about computer and injectors? thank!

Sounds like a good project. That should boost up your hp numbers good. We accully got 1.6 rockers now. You would want to get 1.7rockers. Mopar high performance computer and 96-up injectors for a 5.2 would be best! But stockers can handle it. The computer will know to change the fuel timing. Summit racing and huges performance would be good places to get parts. For more info and parts sites and more Ideas check out the FAQ's in this section.

Yes, the mopar performance computer requires premium gas, but if youre talking about putting high compression pistons in the engine, it sounds like you want a set up that requires premium gas anyway, or theres no need for high compression pistons.
