Fuel Gauge Still Out

Alright, well, I have changed the fuel pump and the fuel gauge is still not working. In addition, the low fuel light which used to work, or go on at least, is always on. Any thoughts?

It might be that the float is stuck on the side. It happends quite a bit. Unfortinitly there is no way to readjust without redoing it all.
