Default cheap chips

I looked online at some reviews, and most said what this one said--
http://reviews.ebay.com/Performance-...00000004347449
That the cheaper ones are, well, cheap, and do nothing, or sometimes harm performance.
Others may improve it.
I'd say don't buy something like that from ebay. You'll be very disappointed.
Educate yourself first and then buy one that's proven.

all that the "performance chip" is a combination of resistors on a motherboard. They will do nothing but cause electrical trips within the onboard computer. Normally, this will cause the "make it home" condition, where the computer begins to shut off information from onboard sensors, like your HELO (O2). When the computer ignores this, you get terrible gas mileage.

In essence, they suck. Safe the fifteen dollars and get something worthwhile...

Yea don't buy them, its a resistor from radio shack to confuse the computer like others have said, bought one for my honda, didn't do ****.....

Took it off the same day and I'll never buy one again.
