Default throttle body

seen one on summitracing site. it is a trickflow throttlebody spacer..wondering are these worth putting on the vehicle?..they claim it adds some torque and helps gas milage

For our engines they dont work. They are junk. I sold mine on ebay. Get a larger bore throttle body and this will give you a few more hp.

throttle body spacers are snake oil for fuel injected cars. spacers only work for carbed models because it allows for a longer venturi tube for the fuel to be more properly atomized in the low pressure/high velocity environment

Just my .02

You'd be better to put a soda can in ur intake than one of those idiot spacers

the only reason i have ever looked into getting a throttle body spacer is to make a home made nitrous plate out of one! but got to have money to but a kit first.....

You only get an increase if its a Dr. Pepper can (+5HP, +3lb/ft). Other brands you get no increase. Coca-Cola, on the other hand, loose power (-10HP, -8lb/ft).

But yea, just put that money towards a larger throttle body. Those work for real.
