Default 95 dakota 4x4 wont start -starter

Newbie question: my dakota won't start, I have a new starter on it, is there any relays or something I am missing? and where are they? I turn the key on and I have no clicking when I try to start it, battery is good, bright lights, but nothing to the starter. I think there is a fuse or a relay but i am not sure, any help appreciated...

There is a relay. It's under the hood, inside the power distribution center (PDC, it's a black colored box. On the underside of the removable lid is a diagram of what each relay and fuse is for)
There is, of course, also the starter fuse, which is also in the PDC. Something like a 30AMP.
The relay also needs to be getting (switched) power from the ignition switch. For 1996, power goes through a 40AMP fuse in the PDC, to the ignition switch. I don't have a wiring diagram for 1995 (yet), but it's probably the same.
If you have a manual, you might have a bad clutch position switch - make sure you have the clutch pushed down all the way.
If you have an automatic, mess with the lever while holding the key to "start." You should be able to crank the motor in P and N, but you might have to try messing with it, moving it around a little.

OR, maybe a wire came disconnected on the starter? There are two wires. A large, and a smaller wire. Make sure they are making a good connection.

If "dodgerles86" info doesn't help, look further ahead in the forum. I had a similar issue but I'm not going to regurgitate it here again.
On older Dakota's, the relays were the same in the PDC...don't know about the 95's...try switching them around and eliminate the possibility of a faulty relay.
