its a 91 dakota se with 3.9 tbi v6. 5 speed tranny. the 318 is out of a 93 ram 150 3/4 ton with an auto trans. i am planning to build the 318 before i put it in but im just wondering if im going to need a new tranny/ engine mounts, fuel pump, computer, wiring harness?

I've been wanting to do the same thing myself to my '91. For the most part, it seems pretty straightforward to do.

Fuel injected might be a little fun for wiring/computer stuff, I would guess.

It should be easy. But since it is not a magnum it will require more like full wireing harness and computer complete enigne from fuel injectors to starter and tranny. For more details you can check out. These links. This is in the FAQ2

I know for my swap, I'm planning on swapping the engine and trans. at the same time....sometime after i find a DD, so i can park the rig!

I guess if the trans. will bolt up, and ya take it really easy, it might last a short while?
