Default Part Number, please.

When I got my truck, a relay switch was broken...
It's a 91 3.9 6 cyl automatic 2wd.
The switch that had the outer housing broken off of it is the middle relay below my fuses inside the cab, by the driver's left foot.
There are 3 total, and the two outer ones both have 2 prongs plugging into the fuse box.
The one I need to replace is the middle one with 3 prongs. My chilton manual calls it a "time delay relay."

What I need is a part number--I'm thinking it would be stamped on the outside of the aluminum or plastic housing on a good relay. My housing was busted off when I got my truck, thus my dilemma.

Anybody got that part number? Barring that, maybe a photo?
Oh, and what does that switch/relay do?
Hopeful,
Paul

you could go to a junk yard and find a part number there, or if anything take it off one of the trucks in the junkyard, they probably won't even charge you for it.

Part number 2889 565
What its responsible for it turning the lights on in the truck (and the 'halo' ring around the ignition switch) when the doors are opened.

Default thanks

I got one from the junkyard--didn't think they'd have one, but there it was.
It's odd--my dome light and halo light aroung the ignition both worked before I put the new one in.
Anyway, now I'm stylin. just gotta get the Anti lock light to go off.
