What, if anything, is the difference between a transmission in a '92 (3.9 4x4) and a '94 (3.9 4x4). I need a transmission for my '92 and I see plenty of '94's, but I hear people say that they won't work in my '92 and I hear others say they will work and that there isn't a difference. what is the correct answer, I'd hate to buy a trans only to find out it won't work, and if I found a trans for an 8 cyl, that would work too right? Thanks in advance!

 

I say it would work. If its a V8 magnum engine and OBD1 it should be the same. If you realy want to know the truth go to the part manuals and see what the differences are. You can get to it in FAQ.
