Default Before and After

So I've had the truck for just over a year now, and I thought I'd post up a before and after just for fun...

Before...

Now

(All body/paint work and mechanical work has been done by me except the ball joints back when I first got the truck.)

Lets see if we can get some more before and afters going...

I don't have a before when I first bought it, years ago.. just imagine a White '95 CC with blue pinstripping and a matching camper cap.

First one is my silly H.S days. Second one is when I thought I wanted to go all white. Third one is the present A12 wannabe look.

GREAT IDEA!

Here is before and after. One is of my truck stock, exept k&n air filter and custom pain job, and can't forget it was 2wd!

And after with tons of mods. 4wd and 5.9 swap, tons of performance and heavy duty parts.

Nice. I have the same color paint as Crazy and it is starting to chip off, flake off. Was this your first paint job you ever did yourself? Looks nice. I would like to repaint my truck sometime after I do some minor rust repair. Did you have any body work that you did before the new paint?

It was not the first paint job I've done... I worked for 3 years in a body shop, and altough I was not the painter at the shop I got a good amount of painting experience. And yes to the body work... there was not a straight panel on my truck when I got it stripped down to the bare metal (it was owned previously by a contractor that beat it up pretty good). I probably used about 1.5 gallons of body filler and it still isn't perfect, I really should have replaced some of the panels .

LOL! Yea! I can't believe it is still the same truck. Its been 7yrs since I got it. It was my dads truck first. I bought him a bronco (which is gone now he has a 04 z71), and he gave me his truck. He got it painted when he had it. so its been 10yrs or so since the paint job. It was a deep blue. Now its a teal or turquoise color. The paint is chipping now.
