They go from when i got it to how i drove it for the winter and a few pics of the new tires and rear axle. still need to get the front one but its in a garage that has not been shoveled all year soo it will be a little while. the bumper was straight when i put it on but pulling out a 3/4 ton dodge and the chain came off the frame and caught it

Thanks! I lucked out getting a truck with those! I could be wrong, but they don't seem very common. I wouldn't mind having that hurst shifter of yours!!! Did you put that in or did the truck already have it when you got it? (if you put it in, did you notice any difference in shifting speed, smoothness, etc?)

I'm glad you took off that bug shield and camper shell. It looks a lot better without!

I just put the Hurst in a couple days ago. Shorter throws and a lot less slop. Only problem I had is that I bought it used, and in 2nd gen trucks the dash changed somewhere around 2001 so it needs a 1/4" spacer between the shift tower and tranny, since the spacer was RTV'd on I installed it with it, everything was fine till I went to the drag strip Saturday night and kept missing my 1-2 shift. It turns out the shift "Ball" was able to pop out of the "Cup" for the shift rails in the tranny when you push the stick over hard enough because of how the spacer lifts up the shifter, and since I was being pretty aggressive with my shifts (barking tires on my 2-3 shift ) it was popping out. So the next day I removed the spacer and it's fine now. It does transfer more noise into the cabin since it's not rubber isolated as well as the stock shifters are.

Sweet! Even the stock shifter transfers a good amount of noise! I noticed a huge difference in noise when I went from the auto to the 5 speed. I'd love to get one of those shifters but I have so many other projects going on with that truck that it's gonna have to wait a long time.

Thats a good one! What else did you do beside remove rust and paint. Why was the dash torn apart? Or was it all to remove rust?

Every body panel was replaced... i bought another cab and the guy gave me the bed... The original fenders and doors were all dented up, so I used the ones from my 90 dakota..The cabs were 2 different years, so I had ti use the original dash..
