5.9 Cam in a 5.2
As I have said in previous posts, I'm building a 5.9 Magnum for my truck that's gonna have an aggressive cam. What I'm wondering... is the factory cam out of the 5.9 Magnum (came out of a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee) a more aggressive cam than the factory 5.2 Magnum cam? I have looked up the part numbers and they are different. I have it posted for sale on my local craigslist but if it does not sell I will probably put it in my 5.2 during spring break to get a little more power (if it will give me more power) until I have the 5.9 finished. In the meantime, if any of ya'll are interested PM me and I'll part with it.

Too me according to this page it is not. I didn't spend much time looking at it though. http://dodgeram.org/tech/gas/specs/cam.html
That site has a lot of useful info. I did look around some and found these two tables:
1995 5.2: http://dodgeram.org/tech/gas/specs/valve-5_2.htm
1998 5.9: http://dodgeram.org/tech/gas/specs/valve-5_9.htm
It looks to me, unless I'm reading it wrong, that the 5.2 has just a little bit more lift, but the 5.9 seems to have just a little bit more duration. They don't seem to be different enough to make swap worth while though.
