the only thing that I used the E3 in was an old lawn mower that would start for nothing put one in it and ran fine but for the price for a truck with 6 or 8 cylinders id stick with the NGK V groove or the autolite 3923's
as mentioned above

Default E 3 plugs

Had Autolite platinum single electrode. Put Bosch 4s in my 360. Without any changes, it produced about 20 miles more per tank of gas, started about the same, and runs without any difficulties. They're expensive; best price on eBay.

I've had the Bosh Platinum 4's and over stock didn't do nothing except give me pinging issues, at high temps while towing. I switched over to Autolites 3923's and the pinging has completely stooped.

Now if you want expensive but the BEST spark plugs out there check out http://www.pulstar.com/ These were developed at the same Base/Labs I work at. They were even featured on horsepower TV that Dinoed there results. The video is posted on their website. They are manufactured here in my city too.

$50 a pair at autozone!?!?! That would cost $200 to put spark plugs in these trucks! The Autolite 3923's cost about $12 for all 8. Thats an absurd amount of money for a 50,000 mile spark plug that only gave a corvette 3.7 more hp.
