This time it is more that i listened to someone i never listen to. My father in law is always telling me go see steve. Steve even got me a better deal on the rockers than what i found locally. I found the rockers and cab corners for 60 a side and steve found them for 50 a side.

Now i know why steve said use the new frame. We finally got the bed off and the tank out, and cleaned the mud off, and here is what i found.

This is behind the tank.

Holly S***! Damn that makes me want to cry! Well I guess like we talk about before swaping in a frame from the other 2wd you got would be a good Idea.

Wow. Well, I'll have to look over my frame very carefully so this doesn't happen to me!

Actually believe it or not it was. The inspection ran out february 2009. My dad had it inspected last feb, and must be the guy he took it to is an idiot. I was actually driving it up until about a week ago when i took the plates off and put them back on my bronco 2. And the new frame is powdercoated black, so im not gonna bother undercoating it. I am however going to undercoat the bed and the cab after the floor is done.

Ok new update. The price is up to 600, and may go as much as 1600 but that is because now that the cab is off and apart, we found that the floor is bad on the drivers side, and i am gonna have him fix that as well as fix a minor spot on the passenger side as well, and since i am going this far with it i might as well see if i can convince my wife to let me paint it. I have always wanted a truck done in black cherry and medium grey, and since once this one is back together i am gonna have it while, why not do it to this one. Here is what we found now that the cab is apart.

This is the passenger side:

And yes i know that is an awful lot of work for an older truck, but like my wife and i talked about, even if i went out around here and looked for a new truck, i would be spending at least 3500 to get something good enough to last a few years.
