Default Rebuild

Hey guys this summer I'm thinking about rebuilding my 91 5.2L. Any body got any ideas on performance upgrades. I was thinking about putting KB pistons in it and a mild cam. I would like to be able to use the factory tbi. You guys got any ideas.
Thanks
BK

If your upgrading the cam and pistons, might as well upgrade the rest like larger TB and 1.7 rockers, do the kegger mod on the intake, headers. In the FAQ2 we have a list of performance you can add as well as links for parts and info.

LOL, thats funny. I agree though, you'd be better off spending your money on parts that will actually add performance to the engine. An oil pan is just an oil pan.

True.... Will 1.7 rockers work on my LA series heads? When I lookeed at summite all I found was 1.6 for my engine...

Actually I don't think the 1.7 will work for you. I didn't notice it was a 91.

I think ill go with the 1.6 rockers with a 260/260, Lift .440/.440 cam. Will it hurt if I use flat tappet lifters? Rollers seem a little $$.

I went to rock auto and checked the price of the oem lifters and they are only 9 bucks a piece..... The stock lifters are hydraulic roller correct?

As far as I know the LA blocks came stock with flat lifters. Magnum engines are stock with rollers.
