Default Looking at a 94 dodge dakota. I have some questions....

This guy doesnt know **** from shiola when it comes to an automobile. He is straight out of the movie, "the hills have eyes". You can choose rather its the first or second of the series. Well, hell. Did they make a "the hills have eyes 3"?

ANYWAYS, there are some things that are catching my eye.

Oil pressure. The oil pressure gauge bobbles, between low, and REAL low. It did seem that there was enough oil when we checked it. Maybe even too much. Could we lose that pressure through the valve cover? I didnt see any excessive oil loss anywhere.

That is my largest concern. I have some more im sure. The truck is in decent condition. But he only wants 600 bucks. I really need a carfax check. Anyone can do that?

It could be losing pressure out the sender unit, which is not an uncommon thing to happen, or the pump could be on its last leg. As long as it is within the "normal zone" on the gauge it should be fine.

If the rest of the truck is in good shape, you really can't beat $600. One thing to definately check if its a 4x4 is the 4 ball joints, which are notorious for going out if not greased reguarly.
