Default compression ratio?gasket thickness

have a 91 dakota 5.2,wanted to know what the stock comp. ratio was and if it can be raised to around 9.5.1 by just the gasket or if the head would have to be shaved.

I believe the '91 is 9.2:1. I'm not sure about the gasket.

My stock stlye head gasket was .030 in. They sell .010 wich will raie it but not buy not by much. you can deck down heads and block around .020 or so each. this will raise more maybe .1 or so. You can google it and find the calclators that will tell you.
