difference between 91 5.2 roller cam and r/t 5.8 roller cam?

Default difference between 91 5.2 roller cam and r/t 5.8 roller cam?

will a dakota r/t 5.8 roller cam fit in my 91 5.2?

I'm not sure, but I'm leaning toward no. The magnum and LA engines have different oiling systems and different heads. I think the lower rotating assembly is all that can be interchanged. Just out of curiosity, why would you want to put a factory cam back in your truck? If you're going to spend the time and money, why not put a performance cam in it?

was thinking about this cam but not sure yet.I want the rough idle,was looking at the ***** thumpa but is said was retro fit.

That would be a sweet cam! I wish I could tell you if it fit or not, but I will advise you to call Comp cams and ask them, they have great customer support. It does say its for a '91 360, and the 318 blocks and 360 blocks are identical except for the bore, so it might work!

the cam I was thinking about or the ***** thumpa?I dont know how much lift the stock heads and springs can handle

The one you gave the link to. The stock heads can handle its lift, but you'll probably need new springs.
