'94 radio, tape player, and radio work off and on

On time the radio came on when it was turned off. Where would be the best place to start looking? Thanks

The wires would be a good start. There is a wire that goes from the ignition switch to the radio. That may be your cause. Check the FAQ in this section for plenty of wiring diagrams.
