Default Intake Part?

So i was wondering is there anywhere to get a aftermarket style piece that would mount to the tb then add a normal pipe to. kinda like the airaid intake http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Airai...Q5fAccessories

but obviously not 200 bucs. i had a friend with a 5.2 ram we put a k&n intake on it and it gave him a bed load of low end. Well thanks as usual.

*EDITED*

nvm, i found what size engine you have, i was looking at a second gen not too long ago, and from what i saw, a high flow set up could be used from a 97-04 also. i wasnt too sure, but it appears there is just a clamp around the hose where the carb style air cleaner goes on our trucks

Well, our throttle bodies are the same as the second gens, and they have that style intake, so you could look into getting an intake kit for a 2nd gen dakota and fitting it.

Yes, the throttle bodies for the v6 and v8 are externally identical, but the v8 just has bigger butterflies, so the intake will fit.

Also, if you can find a v8 throttle body, you should swap them at the same time you do the air intake. I've hear several people on here claim that the v8 throttle body gives a decent power boost to the v6.

Any TB off any '92+ 5.2 or '93+ 5.9. I have a throttle body on my truck that I ported and polished thats off a '98 5.9.

The 91 uses a different throttle cable ,but can be used if swapped with the cable. You can make your own cai by using the throttle body hat off a 97- dakota .
