So i have been plotting to swap my 3.9L to a 5.2L im looking at a 1990 318 or a 94 magnum 5.2L from a jeep. I found a 46RH at my salvage yard and its only 90$. Both it and the engine have 217xxx i dont know if they have been rebuilt ever or if its accurate. What do you guys think i want the tranny and im going to rebuild it for sure.

Well if you go over everything before you buy, that would be just fine and if your going to tare it all apart you can just replace whats needed if anything but id pesonaly find another set with lower milege but i dont know how available they are to you

 

If the transmission is already pulled and you can get a refund, I would take it to a shop and have them check it over. $90 is a pretty good deal for it.

 

thanks guys i agree. i am just going to get the tranny for 90$ and get it looked at and rebuilt. im not getting the engine im just going to build a 390 stroker out of a 318 i founf thats really clean and low miles and price ))))
