Default 3.9L performance parts

heys guys im trying to put together some parts that i can use on my 88 3.9L carb engine. I did find headers from edelbrock, but i would also like some performance cams ad lifters and maybe a new carb. Do you guys know anyone who who has added these or where i can get some. I have checked summitracing and jegs as wells as some mopar sites and im not finding much

If you couldn't find any on those sites, I don't think there are any available. You could also try http://www.mopar.com/performance/index.html

hughesengines.com has v6 cams and lifters

... but if you really want performance, try to locate those missing two cylinders :P

x2!!!!! i put too much money in that v6. the extra 2 cylinders give it 2 ***** too, lol. i get better gas milage and way more power and torque, and it is easier to find parts and cheaper to buy them.

+3. I have the mopar PCM, 5.2 throttle body, k&N intake, and still can't seem to find the power I am missing. I plan on upgrading to a 318 as soon as I can track down all of the parts, oh and fix my blown head gaskets on the V6.

The swap is the way to go, and the MPGs on the 318 are good for a V8, not much worse if any than the V6.
