Default New Gen1 Dak owner needing a little assistance

Hey guys, love the site.
I just got a 1994 Dodge Dakota V8 as a gift. Its in pretty good shape except for one small issue; there is a fuel leak. Now I am not very mechanically inclinded but I am trying to learn as I have big plans for this vehicle (so get ready for lots of questions from me in the future lol). I know where its leaking (its pretty obviouse) but i am having issues with trying to find the replacement part. Its leaking from the hose coming directly from the gas tank and connecting to the aluminum fuel line. I have exhausted all my channels of knowledge on finding this piece short of going to the salvage yard. If you can offer any assistance I would forever be grateful to you.

thats what i thought too but it has the quick connect fitting on it and the guy i talked to at my local auto parts store said they didnt carry that kind. worst comes to worst i can just cut the line and replace the punctured section but i would rather replace the entire piece than do a hack job. its the single tab type quick connect fitting and i cannot find any place that sells these online or even one on ebay.

ok so if i am unable to find to quick connect hose I have read that I can use a fuel injector hose and a high pressure clamp in place of the original. What size hose do i need for my truck?

The intake bolts aren't the strongest..... they get brittle with age. I would find a couple other bolts to use for the stuffing it in exercise.

Congrats on getting it out.
