Yup... pulled the cover today. **** all over. axle clips. a cone washer, 2 spider gears( not the axle ends) and the big pin that holds the spiders together is snapped into 3 pieces...

hoping to get parts for it, what are the chances?

You can pretty much get everything from http://www.ringpinion.com/ . Or dealer. But for everything you need it may be best to go to your local junkyard and get a complete front diff.

I was just looking through they're parts and they see mto have everything you may need so i was wondering? Since im probably going to stoke my engine. With the increase in power should i upgrade my 8.25" or try and find a 9.25" for the rear? Keep in mind its an 89 so i dont know what rear 9.25" will bolt into my truck? Also it is 2WD if i keep the 8.25 i want to change the gears to 3.90 and maybe to positrack? What do you think?

You don't need to change the rear end. These 8.25 can handle alot. I have a pretty strong 5.9 Magnum. I push this truck HARD. And no problems at all with it. But upgrading is not a bad Idea. And a LSD will be a good Idea too. And 3.9 will give you some more torque. So it's up to you. If you have the time and money go for it. But not required for engine strength issues. There is a write up in the FAQ2 on how to swap it.

I was hoping the 8.25 could handle it. I just want to change the gears and do limited slip. What one do you think i should go with i was thinking this one.

http://www.ringpinion.com/PartsList....b-Differential

either the AG 542072-HP or the PT 1230

What do you think?

I would like to do this TT 912A553 but i need 29 spline, which i cant remember where but you can put 29 spline axels in the older diffs with 27 spline. right?

Ya you can swap axle shafts. But do you want a LSD or a full locker? A posi, possitrack or LSD, limited slip differential allow some slip. So you will get better traction then you do now but not 100% of traction that you could be getting. A full locker will give you 100%. A LSD is better on the streets, then an automatic locker. But a selectable locker like the arb unit will let you turn it off for street use and on for 100% traction offroad or at the drag strip. And it also deepens on the price.
