Default Stereo issues

So I just put a new deck into my dakota And I was listing to it on the was to school and it just died on my so I checked all the fuses there all good the head unit connections are all good any ideas?

It still sounds like its a fuses. There are 2 for the radio. One under the steering column and one under the hood.

Did you check both panels? (One under the dash and the one under the hood) There are 2 fuses that could cause the radio to go out. I would also suspect a bad ground, or loose wire. Try Pulling the deck out and checking all of the wires.

For the one under the hood which one runs to the radio?
