95 Dakota still not starting

mine has 2 wires going into 1 metal loop on stud . all was hooked up . I even took it off and put it on below the bracket and still nothing . the 2 wires on the bottom of the coil , 1 wire lites a test light for about 2-3 sec whats the other wire go to? or could any one direct me to a good schmatic

Really....after replacing everything you say you replaced, what's another $20 for a coil. Actually I did it just the opposite. I replaced the coil only to find that the splice under the PDC was the culprit. Go figure...

I think I was getting voltage to the coil, but I wasn't getting spark (even with a new coil).
If you take the distributor cap off and have a friend crank the motor while watching the distributor rotor, if the rotor turns, the chain is good. If the rotor doesn't turn, either the shaft is broke, or the timing chain is done for.
