Dual shocks!
Okay so I got Bored yesterday. My In laws had a yard sale at my house and I just got bored. So I've been wanting to do a dual shock setup. I went out to the junkyard the other day. I needed a door lock motor. Mine was dying. I decided to get the shocks off of that truck. They looked newish and for $5 for each not a bad deal. So I fabed up the mounting locations and bolted them in.
Here are the pics. Just incase others want to see here is the kit they sell for the front and a custom done rear end.

I havnt drove it much yet but I tested on some speed bumps near by and is smoother after I hit it. I hit it a 30mph and that still wasnt bad. So it is smoother. But I only drove around the block. I will test it out some more and see how she does.
Wow, im just gunna call myself a dumbass for not noticing the 2nd pick was the front when i looked at it a while ago
but ok that will probably give you a pretty good ride but what might the negative affects be if there are any

is that one bolt gonna hold it? Looks like the trailmaster kit has a pretty beefy mounting plate... that was then welded on even... I would think the larger surface area like that and extra bolts would be there for a reason.
not that this isn't awesome... but I would have thought a larger bracket would be in order

Ya I believe that one bolt will hold it. Ya that bracket is the only thing I had. It's thick and I gusseted it for more strength. And it if fails then I will do something different. But I say that is all it needs. I didn't want to spend all day on it. So only time will tell.
