Default Renting out my tools :)

I have one home made front main seal installer tool for rent.

Actually wanted to see if anyone else had any photos of home crafted tools when you are in a bind?

Figured I would share this photo too. This used to be the point where I would panic and freak out that half of my truck was sitting in the lawn. Thanks for Dodge Forum I am not afraid anymore.

LOL! That is what it is all about. I got some. I will take some pics tomorrow. I forgot, What are you doing to your truck? And your pic in your signature does not work if you want to fix it.

Well, the front seal installer was for puttnig the 318 back together. I know people said tap the thing in with a hammer but that just wasn't working for me.

And as for the truck, the entire front end had to come off to complete the 2" body lift. The guy before me apparently put the thing together with head bolts? Unless that came factory. When I went to loosen them the threaded steel plates started spinning free inside the body. Turns out they aren't welded down but are held in by a few sheet metal tabs. Well those tabs bent out and I had to go in from a little hole and hold the plate still while I removed the bolts and put new ones in.

I had to go in through this little hole behind the tire. Lot more rust under the panels than I had thought was there. Joys of living in the midwest.

Been meaning to get the signature fixed. It isn't a good picture or anything. Mac doesn't like this forum for pictures.

Ya those body nuts are stock. They were meant so it can hold the nut but allow movement for adjustments. For me the left radiator support nut did that to me too. I just stuck a screw driver in it to hold it.

I got stuck with the two behind and the wheel wells spinning and the two next to the radiator. The ones behind the wheel wells are the worst because I had to remove the whole wheel well and side to get to it.

You can adjust them?

Lol, I used a 1/2 inch drive impact that spunt the bolts out so fast they didn't have time to slip :P
