Default Cruise control and manual trans

I was curious the other day as to whether or not I could disengage cruise control with the clutch. I pushed the clutch pedal down and the truck revved up and kept going, so the clutch didn't deactivate it. I hit the brake of course to shut it off and go back into 5th gear. I believe the clutch should deactivate it, but I am not 100% certain. I am currently using the Mopar PCM for an auto truck and I am wondering if anyone with a standard manual truck can say they have tried this?

I could put my regular computer back in but that will take a few days since I am moving.

if the clutch IS supposed to disengage it, it wont mainly because you have the perf PCM for an auto. the auto PCM doesnt even know your automatic tranny is missing. the only way to fix it, is to get an manual PCM and see

This normal operation for manual with cruise. The cruise control will cut off when the clutch is pushed in the engine will rev to a point and the cruise will kick off.

That answers my question. I kind of figured that. So this can be a little warning to anyone thinking about using an auto PCM in a manual tranny, or anyone doing a V8 swap and using an auto ECM.
