lol good job 318, whats your name? It will be easier since you post on like everyone of my threads lol

I'm thinkin of a 318 swap. From what ive researched it isnt too bad. The motor mounts and stuff are the same? And all the electrical is the same? What tranny will i need?

Im only 15 right now and I'm flat broke lol, but maybe next spring if i got the money and the time that is a possibility.

Im confused about the rockers lol do you still think they will do the trick?

The rockers will still help some, but nothing you do to that v6 will give you the same power or torque numbers the v8 can throw down. At least nothing that will cost less than a v8 swap. The motor mounts will work from your v6. The only electrical difference is you will need a v8 computer and have to run the 4 wires for the 2 new injectors. You will want either the NV3500 or NV4500 (but you'll need a 2 inch body lift to fit the 4500).

If thats the case, you'd be best off spending the money on lower rearend gears than putting it toward the engine.

you could also go to a junkyard, and if you cant afford the whole engine, take the throttle body off it, it will add a little power. not much, but us with our 6's, we gotta get every little bit we can right? lol :P
