Default Odometer stoped working?

I have a 90 v6 4x4 and the odometer just stop rolling? The speedo still works fine.

Also The shift lever indcater* is off. If the truck is in park it says that it is in Rev. If in Rev then it says D. if in D it says 1. How do I fix it?

thanks

The speedo and odometer are mechanically connected. I believe someone also had that problem at one time. Try doing a search. I believe your only choice is to change the guage cluster. Check your local junkyard or craigslist. The shift indicator is adjustable, you have to get inside the guage cluster. We have service manuals located in the FAQ in this section if you need to know how to take off the guage cluster.
