no i meant the offset of the stock wheels. i'm pretty sure all 1st gen dakota's are the same. i found it on a website that makes replica wheels, but i can't find that site either.

The offset is the backspacing.

offset and back space isn't the same from my understanding.

and even looking at the site i found the wheel specs on, 17x8 with 0mm offset, and 4.5" back space. or 17x10 with -25mm offset with 4.5" backspace.

according to that image, offset and backspace are opposite side of the center hub piece. so they are never the same number

Ok backspacing is the actual distance from the flange to the backside.
Wheel offset is how far it is from the center line to the flange. No not the exact thing. Sorry I got mixed up. But I have neutral/zero offset. Backspace is 3in. Easy to figure out.

you being confused made me confused, i'm just beginning to understand the whole offset/backspacing. lol
