Default Cruise control testing

Hey all, I am hoping all you people who are all much smarter than me can help guide me a bit.

My cruise hasnt worked in a few months. I recently picked up a vacuum/pressure guauge that I am hoping I can use to take some readings and see where my vacuum leak / blockage (if any) is.

Can someone tell me where I can test the cruise control system and what the readings should be? Thanks so much to all!!!

I believe the book says 13-18 vacuum is good. Also check the check valve. They can get stuck.

Start with the hose that connects to the cruise control. Then then vacuum port that the hose connects to on the intake. Check the FAQ for a vacuum diagram.

Well put in your truck and go to the repair guides. Search around for it.
