1st truck...

ok i washed it up yesterday after work and took a few pics, there are some rust spots, the worst is behind the front passenger wheel, the others r on the rear fenders right above the tires. let me get my camera and upload the pics.
but still the best $100 i ever spent lol (well about $400 after changing all fluids, and when i register it)
not bad for a Alaska vehicle, if this was down in cali then ho hum.

so, 15.2L semi engine? i think it will fit. what do u guys think?
lol. kidding,
i will take some pics of the engine bay next time i see the truck (probably this evening) used out hot pressure washer on the whole truck, the under carriage is almost spotless, got all the greasy build up off so i can see /work on stuff easier.
for ****s n giggles here's a pic of my daily driver, pic is a few months old it has the 14's up front now instead of 18's and i took the snorkel off. ppl used to stop and watch (swarms of 4 wheelers) when i would cross 3-4ft of water repeatedly with those rims on, (chasing a cooler lid) 55w HID converted light forces (love em)

as u can see from my vw i get a lot of random ideas and usually make it work some how, i like to share what ever is rattling around in my head and sometimes i get some very useful info back from it. anyway BACK TO THE FUN STUFF
i can get my hands on a 2wd GMC with only 30k miles, been well taken care of so far (owner needs something else) looking to see if i can some how make the GM bolt up to my tranny (dont want to lose my 4WD, and then my friend with a dead chevy tranny can use the 1 from the donor truck)
as time goes on and i get more reasearch done and learn more about my truck i'll have far less questions, i'm at the kid asking grandpa stage right now lol. hopefully soon i'll jump to the teenager teachign grandpa new tricks.

hmm. might need to just find a gm transfer case but i really don't want a gm automatic, so far i have a 87 d350 ram and a pretty new gmc (pretty sure its a 1500) both 2wd tho. to mix and match and what not. bleh i'll figure something out, only been thinking for a couple hours, who knows might come across more parts its been a great year so far lol.
