unfortunately... the truck didnt stand a chance! picked the @$$ of the truck up off the ground and wouldnt break the tree! And I even had a wedge cut about 1/2 way into the pulling side and about a 6" deep cut in the back side!

 

Yeah....if you would have used a ****** strap instead of a chain and placed it a little lower you probably would have had better luck. The strap lets you get a little strech/momentum pull going before it lifts your axle off the ground. Best is a winch though......

 

Oh, I had plenty of mementium! haha I backed up and had about 3' of run before I hit the end of my chain! haha The rear tires came up like 1-2 feet off the ground!

 

wow how that pic brings back stupid moments i was doing the same thing but the tree already fell and we were in a field we cut pieces off and when it came to the trunk my friends 88 chevy 2wd got stuck i pushed him out locked it and 4wd and broke the 5000 pound tow strap in half and broke my bumper he said sorry dude so i found another tree and backed up into it to push my bumper back in...lol stupid times
