'94 fuel filter
So I raised the bed "thanks to reading around here"
instead of dropping the tank. I get the pump unit out and the filter was black , so I pry/tap it off. It held gas in there like a cup. Alrighty then I start calling all the parts places and they all tell me I have to buy the whole pump instead of just a filter $179.
So I say to he!! with that and decide that I would just get a can of brake parts cleaner and clean it up. So after I used the whole can and about 10 minutes of 200 p.si. air, it looked a way better. It stopped holding gas like a cup. I put all back together and she purrs and reves alot better.
Just thought I'd throw this in here in case someone else runs into this. Or does anyone know where one can source the filter only? BTW my nearset dodge dealer is over a 100 miles away,so I didn't bother callling them since I had to get her back runnin' today.

For stock style your best bet is dealer, or OEM part sites. Part # 4864 307 Check http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...&siteid=214583

You can also get an universal inline filter or a 92-93 Dakota filter which is inline, But you will still need a sock style filter for the tank.
