Yea I stand 6'2" so I'm kind of tall. I got the measurements I needed to get and now I just have to go look at a few thin box's to see if I can fit my two Memphis 12" subs in a thin vented box. I love my subs just a matter of time til I can get bass in the pickup. But i'm also going to amp up the high's as well with a set of tweeters. (Yes there will be pictures when I start working on it just working 80 hours a week at work kinda takes time away from other things.)

Another Idea would be to switch from a bench seat to buckets and make a enclosure between them. This is something I have been thinking about doing so I could put some 12's in but I haven't really checked any measurments to see how much room you would have with buckets.

The whole thing with switching to to buckets is you would have to also have to make 4 new bolt's to support the seat's and I really don't feel like going into the floor when the bed is so much easier to replace if to much rust comes into play. I think I have enough room to mount the full size 12" subs in 2 box's (If I had to use 2.) I'll know more when I see the box first hand and actually go to do a dry fit.

No actually you dont have to make anything. I put a passenger side seat from a dakota bench as my driver seat and didnt change anything except the frames from below the seats. Took 10 minutes.
