Default EGR cleaning

I just cleaned my EGR valve and my rpm's dropped from 750 to around 600 @ idle. I drove for an hour or so, but no change. My Chilton's says 700 rpm's is correct (93 3.9 auto w/air). Did the EGR get damaged from the cleaning? BTW I'm changing my timing set next weekend...sounds like a roll of quarters in the dryer. Anybody, thoughts?
I Seafoamed last weekend but didn't get much smoke. IAC is new. Can you get more than 180,000 miles out of an EGR valve?

As long as the Idle is smooth it is okay. It can be anywhere from 200-900 and be normal.
