Default ECM mixed with water ?

Hey guys i have another question. My 89 dakota has been outside all summer and it has most the front clip gone. And i was cleaning it back up to possibly throw my 88 tranny in it and get her running. And the ECM has been just siting in the engine bay and was full of water. If it dries out will it be good? Or am i gonna need a new one.

Thanks much

I'm not to sure how the older computers look like. But if it is like the newer 92-up then it is fully covered in thick silicone to protect against the elements. Take a look and see if yours is covered up.

Cool i will look. Even if its not covered in most electronics even if they get wet if they are not on and you let them dry out they are usually good?

Thanks again
