Yup, it does good most of the time! I won't switch it back to the 5.2 MP computer though. Although I have no dyno results to prove it, it feels like the performance 5.9 fuel maps give the 5.2 a lot more power at wide open throttle. Especially with the headers (with no EGR), lack of a cat, flowmaster muffler, bored out throttle body, and modded '98 360 intake with no EGR.

But why are you still posting, go drive your truck!

I still need to bleed the brakes, as well as downjack and tighten up the torsion bars and CV hub bolts.
But I'm done for the night. My back is hurting, and I need to probably turn in my cable internet stuff today, so I need to do some last minute downloading.

Have fun with the torsion bars! I like the adjustability of torsion bar suspension, but it sucks when you have to level the truck side to side. I cheat though... I let my 1/2 inch impact turn those bolts! I know you know this, but just make sure to drive the truck around the block and then recheck the height of each side, cause they have to settle.

But if your turning in your cable internet, it sounds like this is goodbye 'til February, so have a safe tour and we'll talk to you again in several months!

I get internet on the phone, so I'll check back before I leave.

I'll find time in the desert to get on and reminisce about how I miss wrenching on the old rig.

funny thing - when I reinstalled the lower right control arm I didn't reinstall the torsion bar correctly (rotated in the socket incorrectly) and the suspension was totally bottomed out with bars cranked all the way up. So now its on jacks waiting for me to get back

That sucks dude. At least its nothing huge. Youll have a truck to look foreward to as soon as you get back.
