I picked up a set of stock chome 1st gen wheels but cant figure out how to attach the center caps. The guy i bought them from siad they fit over the lug nuts but thats not the case. Do i need a specific set of lugnuts? If anyone has these rims could you give me some advice or thats some pics.

I can't tell from the pic but do they have a small lip at the base that you just stick them in from the inside when the wheel is off? That's how mine work.

They are larger caps that fit over the lugs. Anyone with these rims would know exactly what i need to do

 

first off are those the original rims that came on the truck. they look more like ones that came off a later 90's model. if that is the case you need the covers that look like

not entirely sure since i cant get a good look at your set up.

 

No, he has the right covers for the wheels. Those are the ones that came on my truck from the factory. The center caps slip right over the lug nuts. Can you get a picture of what kind of lug nuts you have?
