squeaking sound

Default squeaking sound

when i turn my wheels all the way to the left or right its strats to squeak when i start to move foword. anybody have a idea what it is?

Most likely the power steering pump. But it can be any one of the pulleys. Spray WD40 on one pulleys at a time and see which makes it stop.

I cant describe the sound but mine makes a wierd sound when cranked all the way in either direction but i think thats normal

Is your truck 2 or 4 wheel drive? They have two different steering systems and front suspension.

Is is a vacuum type suction noise? Mine does the same thing, and so has every car I've driven.

Mines 2X4 and yea it sort of is or a mixture of that and a buz or somethin, i noticed that the Pontiac my dad daily drives also makes a type of sound when the steering is cranked all the way in either direction

I've heard this on just about every vehicle I've driven. I think it's just putting the max load on the p/s pump and causing the belt to squeal a bit.

its 2wd, ill try some wd40 on the pullys and see if that stops it
