Default hockey puck lift?

thinkin about doing a body lift the cheap way.
wondering where all the bolts are for the cab and box to make it a lil easier to do the lift.
any help and or ideas would be great.

6 or so on cc, 2 on the raidator supprt and another 6 on the bed. The best way to find out where is to look under the truck. Are hockey pucks easy to get, lots of people try them? It would seem like 14 or 28 is a lot just to be lying around.

Are you missing bolts Crazy?!?! My truck has 2 for the radiator support, 6 for the cab, like you said and 8 on the bed. The bed bolts are much smaller than the cab bolts. Also, if I remember right, one set has american threads and the other has metric? Don't know what Dodge was thinking there.

That is a good question though, 16 or 32 hockey pucks is a lot!

Okay I skipped the bolts. I was guessing on the bed bolts. So a long bed might be 10 bolts? I would say instead of finding that many pucks just go buy the body lift. Cheep and easy, it includes blocks and bolts. Depending where you get it $70-90. But if you have a hockey team near by that has a good 20-30 pucks laying around go for it.

I thought about doing that too and unless you work at the rink and can steal a bunch of pucks.... its not worth it. You need more than just the pucks, you need longer bolts, new nuts, depending on the hieght, 1 or 2 pucks haha, you will need some steering extensions.

By the time you add up all those pucks, bolts, misc parts, custom fabrication, etc... you'd be better off paying $75 for a body lift and save yourself the headache and only saving maybe $15 to $25.

I agree, I got my body lift on ebay for $75, and even if you can save a few dollars on the puck idea, you have to drill them out and its just a lot more work.

I have found that Amazon has a pretty good selection of automotive parts for a good price. I didnt know until a guy told me to look there for my glasspack.
