Extended cab or regular cab?

FAQ2 has a link for the '95 FSM (rapidshare link). That FSM has the complete wiring diagrams that will help you find what your looking for. I assume you're going to run a relay with that fan?

FWIW, I have my radiator fan on its own switch on the dashboard, completely independant of the ignition so I can run it when I want and turn it off when I want. Since the weather has gotten cold, I haven't even turned it on and the truck stays at 180*

Wow. So were you seriously planning on running it straight off the ignition switch's power? We're talking about something that can pull 20+ amps! You'll blow that fuse continuously... or worse, burn up the wires and potentially catch your truck on fire.

A relay is something that uses a small electromagnetic switch to turn on and off a larger switch. The small switch uses less than 1 amp of current so you can run 18 gauge or lighter wire around the truck... I don't know about you, but I don't like running heavy gauge wire through my cab... its not fun. The heavier switch can handle 30, 40 or even more amps for stuff like big lights, fans, pumps or any other high current electrical system. You can tie the relay switch into the ignition, so when you turn the key to "on" it will switch on the relay and then turn on the fan and you'll never have an electrical issue.

Seriously, I'm not trying to beat you down or sound mean, just being honest.... if you don't understand electrical systems, you should not attempt to install this fan. You can cause yourself a lot of issues if you fry the electrical system.

Don't let me discourage you from setting up the fan like you want to! I'm just challenging you to do some research and know how to safely and efficiently set it up before you try. If you want to get a relay and run it off the ignition, I'll tell you how to wire it up, thats why this forum is here. I'm just glad you asked before tying the fan straight into the igntion!!

1 10" sub fits nicely underneath the drivers side back seat. And you can flip down the seat to hide it to avoid thugs. As for the electric fan most parts stores sell a universal electric fan installation kit. It has a probe that you can put in the fins of your radiator and an adjustable temperature sensor. I have mine set up this way with an additional relay to an ignition on power source. It turns the fan on automatically when it gets hot enough and only when the ignition is on so I don't have to worry about accidentally leaving it on.

I was curious about the electric fan issue. I'd love to convert mine over to one. In reading the FAQ's, I saw a couple listed. What I was curious about is, before I bought the truck, I was looking at other makes / models, also. On several, it was a VERY popular, and CHEAP swap to get a DUAL elec fan from a taurus / sable. Not only were they cheap and plentiful, but had supposedly been tested to have one of the highest air-flow rates of any eleic fan - very popular upgrade ofr HD applications like RV's, etc...

Will these physically fit ok (some modification expected) with our rad's?
