Default seats....

Just curious if anyone has measured, installed any bucket seats from any OTHER vehicle other than the daks and newer daks / durangos? Buckets are NOT plentigul in this area, and tan ones are even harder to fine for these - but I have seen tan buckets in other vehicles.

Wondering if it would be possible to 'southern engineer' a decent set of buckets from something else????

I just tried to put second gen buckets in my 95 and gave up. I could do it but not without welding and fabricating some stuff. I might eventually get around to it but I have other things to finish before winter on the truck.

I have 86 honda seats in my 93 regular cab and they fit pretty well. I recommend you find yourself American made seats from the junkyard. Oh, if you find seats take the seats tracks and see if you can mount them to your floor.

I hate honda seats :{

As I said the honda seats fit perfectly that is why I installed them. I hate the seats because their not USA seats I guess is my only reason.

When I was at the yard the other day, I was looking at some seats in a caravan. the only thing I think that might need more measuring is the height. Van seats seem to have taller bases. I thought the seats and large center council would be nice.

If you do that I'd like to see how it looks!
