Rusto paint job on my 88 dak
Well if I do red stripes then the plan is to paint the DODGE logo red on the tailgate, too. I just don't want it to be too over the top
They sell the replacement reflective letters for the tailgate. I believe 92-93 came with them. Mine did.
Yeah mine had them too, personally not my taste... Once the paint job moves forwards I'll decide what I'm gunna go with it.
OK...I can see the pictures now. Our firewall at work was blocking them for some reason and they don't come up in Firefox. I'll have to look into that.
That looks really good! And that's being done with a roller? Wow, that's pretty impressive. Is the paint designed to be applied with a roller or, did you choose to do it that way. As you can tell by my avatar, my truck needs paint bad but, my garage is a hole and I can't paint it outdoors(neighbors freaked the last time I did that). This may be an option.
When I re-paint, I'm gonna screw with people and put an F250 emblem on the fender...

There's no reason why you can't do this to your truck, it's cheap and you will probably have better success since you have a garage, I'm forced to paint outside and it's a constant battle with dust, dirt and debris for me.
Anyway check it out and do some searching and you'll probably be started on yours in a week lol

Removed the cowl grill. As you can see in the photo this area was only sprayed with base coat, But I'm going to spray the visible spots in the same way they did at the factory with the same paint I'm using for the wiper arms.

I'm going to respray the "inside grill" aswell. I don't have an adhesion promotor or plastic primer, but this paint is designed to be used on plastics, so hopefully it holds up.

The wiper arms after I sprayed them with rustoleum universal satin. When they dried they looked great.
I'm going to finish up the tailgate and take pics after it, the cowl grill and gas flap are completed.

I made this design to give an idea of how I want the bed stripes to look

lol
