I'm going to guess the computer! The computer provides the ground for the ASD and fuel pump relays, so if they are getting power and not clicking on, the computer could very well be at fault.

If your truck is a v6 and you need a computer, let me know. There is a '92 or '93 dakota at a local u-pull-it junkyard near me and I think the computer is still there. I've been going over there a lot lately.

They list computers to be $43.99. Here is the link if you are interested:

Just go to the "Find a Location" tab and click on Raleigh. You should definately look to see if there is one closer to you, I just thought I'd mention it to you because I know the truck is there if you can't find one near you.

'91 and older are the LA series motors with throttle body injection, so the computers won't work with the '92+ multiport injected magnum motors. '92-'93 are interchangeable. '94-'95 are interchangeable. And '96 started OBDII.

I'll go back and check the year next time I'm there. I'm not sure what their holiday schedule is so it might not be 'til next week, but I need to go back to get some u-bolt plates for my 9.25" rear axle.
