every dak owner knows about the fuel pump problems. that could be the issue, pump output not enough at high speed. get the pump pressure checked.

Under normal circumstances, the torque converter will engage around 45-50MPH.

Gonna have to agree with Crazy on thinking its to do with the torque converter.

Yea, it feels like enough gas isn't getting through

If thats is what you think. Then check the fuel pressure.
